How To Go From Bullied To Bold - TEDxHarding

Bullied – a word that is spoken a lot in our society. And, for good reason. It is very real!

Bullied – a word that is spoken a lot in our society. And, for good reason. It is very real!

Were you ever bullied as a child? I was. I used to call it being “made fun of”; however, it was bullying, because it was degrading and hurtful.

I was bullied because I was the fat girl. And, even though I lost the weight in 1971, my Senior year in high school, I didn’t release those degrading, bullying words others had said.

After several years of keeping the weight off, I began to dream of sharing my story of hope for others who haven’t been able to keep the weight off. Or, so I thought.

In 2011, after discovering how I had held on to my past of being bullied, I began to realize that the real part of my story to share was how I had released something very toxic.

Recently, November 2013, I had the honor and privilege to be one of the presenters of a TEDx at Harding University, Searcy, AR.

In this video, “How to Go from Bullied to Bold”, you will find out what the toxic “something” was that I released. Because of this release, I am now able to fulfill my dream of giving hope for others.

Watch now so you can find out what this “something” was.
